The pistachio tree is a plant native to the Mediterranean basin. It is cultivated for its seeds, which are used for direct consumption, in bakeries, in the ice cream industry and to add flavour to cured meats. It was used and cultivated by ancient civilizations and was already considered a precious fruit back then. Our extensive experience enabled us to specialize in the selection of pistachios worldwide, thus generating a culture for our customers and all those concerned.ù
Pistachios, like all dried fruits, provide a lot of energy.
They are also rich in proteins and unsaturated fats
and contain a low amount of carbohydrates.
They contain a lot of minerals, vitamin A and some of the group B vitamins.
Like other nuts the most interesting fact is that it does not contain cholesterol. It is a precious and unique reserve of polyunsaturated fats, which are essential in ensuring an adequate intake of Omega 6.
